What a week this has already been! Last Thursday we received some unexpected news; my husband was laid off. It came as a total shock to both of us. He had only been with this company since August of last year and we were still trying to play catch-up from him being out of work before this job. We had brunch with family on Saturday to celebrate my daughter in laws birthday, it was nice. Then, the tornadoes! My in-laws live in Emory, where one of the 7 tornadoes hit Saturday night. We were so worried about them, gratefully they are all safe and my nieces home did sustain damage but they are safe. Stuff can be replaced but people can never be!
Needless to say, it has been a roller coaster lately and I have felt a little bit of anxiety, I know the good Lord will take care of us, but I am also human… My way of dealing with anxiety is to get away from it all by crafting or reading. I know they say exercise is also good but I like my way better 🙂
What do you do to relieve stress?
I had to get my truck inspected but had to get the windshield replaced first so I made a little something for the ladies that worked in the glass shop. A little note and a bag of tea.
Then, I made a paper flower to go on my daughter in laws present. I love the color combination I used, bright and festive.
I am hoping to get in and craft some more this afternoon, we are expecting more rain and storms. Just hoping the tornadoes stay away.
Have a blessed Krazy day!
