Sometimes things get a little messy when you are creating. This morning I was trying to get started on making cards that I will be teaching for my 4th of July card classes, I just purchased some new ink pads with the patriotic colors. I discovered that, #1 – do not store them at an angle, #2 – ink is messy, and #3 – sometimes when you get started you can lose your motivation when things don’t go according to your plans.
I am still covered in blue ink and my trash can is full of paper towels and baby wipes from trying to clean up the mess. But, live and learn…
Today is my husbands birthday, so of course I made him a card. This year I went with a simple card that says what I feel. Seems that the more simplistic things are sometimes, the better. I have tried to do this with my life and I am liking it.
For his birthday our oldest son, daughter in law and granddaughter are coming over for dinner. His menu request: ribeye, baked potatoes, stuffed mushrooms and a blackberry cheesecake. I have never made a blackberry one before, but I think it is going to be pretty yummy!
Soon more pictures will be coming from the card classes I am holding for the 4th of July. Once I get the blue ink to cooperate. #blueaintmycolor
Keep it KRAZY!
